Kelly Clarkson Makes Billboard History
Kelly Clarkson - whose new album All I Ever Wanted (RCA) drops March 10 - has set another record on the Billboard Hot 100! Her new single, "My Life Would Suck Without You," catapulted from number 97 all the way to number one! That's the highest climb a song has ever made to number one!
"My Life Would Suck Without You" is the second number one single from the former American Idol. Her AI victory song, "A Moment Like This," went number one back in 2002.

American Idol
We can all breathe a sigh of relief. American Idol is back on the air!
Simon, Paula and Randy are back (with new judge Kara) and they are looking for the best singer in the country (and of course Simon won't be afraid to tell us who is the worst).
Over here at Dada.net, we are celebrating the anticipation of a new American Idol with music from previous Idols, including David Cook, Carrie Underwood, David Archuleta, Kelly Clarkson (pssst - her new album drops March 10. Check out the first single "My Life Would Suck Without You"), Jordin Sparks and Jennifer Hudson.
We're huge fans of AI here at Dada. I can't wait to vote for my favorite singer. Who's yours so far?

The new First Couple danced their First Dance to "At Last," Beyonce's cover of the Etta James classic. Beyonce's "At Last" is featured on the Cadillac Records soundtrack. The film is garnering major critical buzz, including talk of an Oscar nomination for Beyonce, who plays Etta James in the film.
Beyonce's "Single Ladies" Puts a Record On It
Industry trade Radio and Records is reporting Beyonce has tied for the longest reign by a woman on their urban chart.
The
diva's "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)" is spending its ninth week on top of the urban list, tying the record runs of Ashanti's "Foolish" in 2002 and Mariah Carey's "We Belong Together" in 2005.
